1. General Betting Framework
All wagers accepted by BookiePrice.com, where markets are available, are subject to these Sports Betting Rules and Regulations. In the event of any contradiction between these rules and specific tournament terms, the tournament-specific rules will take precedence.
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure they are familiar with the rules governing the specific event or sport they are placing a wager on.
2. Bet Validation and Deadlines
- Official Match Time: Bets are accepted up until the official starting time of an event. If a bet is inadvertently accepted after an event has commenced (excluding clearly defined Live In-Play markets), the wager will be declared void and the stake refunded.
- Live In-Play Markets: Wagers placed on live events are subjected to a minor time delay transmission buffer to safeguard against fast updates or broadcast manipulation. If a significant incident occurs (such as a goal, referee review, or red card) during this delay buffer, BookiePrice reserves the right to void wagers placed during that specific timeframe.
3. Settlement of Outcomes
All bets are settled based on the official statistics and results provided by the respective governing body of the sport (e.g., AFL, NRL, Cricket Australia, FIFA) immediately following the conclusion of the event.
Subsequent modifications to results by governing councils, disciplinary hearings, or drug test outcomes will not impact the initial settlement of wagers for betting purposes.
3.1 Regular Time vs. Overtime
Unless explicitly stated otherwise within the market description, all match outcomes are settled based on the result at the end of regular time (including any stoppage or injury time added by the officials). Overtime, extra time, and penalty shootouts are excluded unless the market is explicitly named "To Progress," "Includes Overtime," or "Grand Final Winner."
4. Postponements, Cancellations, and Abandonments
If an event is postponed, cancelled, or abandoned, the status of wagers is determined as follows:
- Rescheduled Within 36 Hours: If a match is delayed or postponed but scheduled to resume or take place within 36 hours of its original starting time, all wagers remain valid.
- Indefinite Postponement: If a match does not commence or resume within 36 hours of the original schedule, wagers will be deemed void and stakes will be credited back to user accounts.
- Partial Completion: If a game is abandoned after commencing but an official result is declared by the sport’s governing body, wagers will be settled accordingly. If no official result is determined, markets that have already been unconditionally concluded (e.g., "First Goalscorer" if a goal has been scored) will stand. All other markets will be voided.
5. Dead Heat Policy
A "Dead Heat" occurs when two or more participants finish an event tied for a specific place (e.g., two players tying for the most goals in an AFL match or two horses finishing exactly side-by-side). In a dead-heat scenario:
The total stake is divided by the number of participants involved in the dead heat. The resulting stake is then multiplied by the original odds to determine the payout. The remaining portion of the stake is lost.
6. Australian Sports - Specific Protocols
6.1 Australian Football League (AFL)
All AFL match wagers are settled on the official final score, inclusive of extra time if played during finals series matches. For regular season matches where a draw occurs and no extra time is scheduled, the "Match Winner" market will be subjected to standard Dead Heat rules if a "Draw" option was not offered in the initial betting line.
6.2 National Rugby League (NRL)
NRL matches are settled on regular time plus any golden point extra time played. If a match ends in a draw after golden point extra time has concluded, Dead Heat rules will apply to the Head-to-Head market, unless a Draw price was offered.
6.3 Cricket (Test, ODI, T20)
Match results are dictated by official competition regulations. In the event of reduced overs due to weather interference, settlements for match outcomes are heavily determined by the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) calculation methodology adopted by the match officials. If a match is abandoned due to external factors before a ball is bowled, all wagers are void.
7. Multi-Bets (Parlays)
A multi-bet combines selection lines from different events into a single wager. All individual selections must win for the multi-bet to be successful. If any single leg is declared void (due to postponement or a player scratch), that specific leg is removed from the multi-bet calculation, and the odds are adjusted down to reflect only the remaining active selections.
8. Prohibited Practices & Abuse
BookiePrice maintains a rigorous integrity standard and expects customers to verify current service availability. Any wagers linked to arbitrage betting, systemic automated script injections, or insider information will be flagged. We reserve the absolute right to limit account privileges, freeze funds pending comprehensive review, and void related wagers if irregular structural betting patterns are detected.
